Lenpaste v1.2 is out. Lenpaste source code and installation guide: https://git.lcomrade.su/root/lenpaste. Installation on a Raspberry PI is supported.

UI: History tab

History is not transferred to a server, but is stored locally in your browser.

For instance administrators

  • Rate-limits on paste creation (env: LENPASTE_NEW_PASTES_PER_5MIN).
  • Add default paste life time for WEB interface (env: LENPASTE_UI_DEFAULT_LIFETIME).
  • Add terms of use support (file: /data/terms).
  • Private servers - password request to create paste (file: /data/lenpasswd).

Fixes

  • Fixed a security bug that could cause an attacker to overflow the disk.
  • Fixed not saving settings in some browsers.
  • The interface now displays the full name of the language instead of its code.
  • Fixed compatibility with WebKit browsers (for example: Gnome WEB).

I live in Russia. This is the reason why the domain and server are hosted by Russian providers.

Ah, this web site, which I thought was the only place where you could register, says it is based in New York, so they can't register new ones, which web site did you use to register it?

One Russian research organization, ripn.su, is responsible for registering domains in the .su zone. They in turn assign registrars, here is a complete list: https://ripn.su/domen-su/spisok-registratorov/ (use Google Translate). I registered with beget.com.

Although I think they will refuse you if you can't prove your identity. Documents issued in Europe, USA, UK and so on are not suitable for proof of identity.

PS: $29.95 per year is very expensive, Russian registrars charge $4-6 per year.
