For those of you who've dealt with a body corporate before - what's involved, what are the pitfalls and would I be better-off removing my own epidermis with a potato peeler than dealing with one?

Body corps are as unique as the individuals that are a part of them. You could get a really chill body corp or one full of Karens.

Look at the minutes from previous body corp meetings to get a sense of this. Also talk to the body corp manager, this is usually outsourced to an external company.
