One thing I have seen a bit of is downvoting. I know it’s probably a foolish errand to even ask this, and with federation, the height of futility, but can we try to use downvotes to express that a topic or comment is inappropriate or out of place and not that we disagree or just don’t like it? Let’s try to rid ourselves of some our bad habits from Reddit and not carry them forward.
That said, I couldn’t be more happy and proud of everyone here for coming in and lending a hand to build this community up in these early days!

That's awesome! What a great start! I wholeheartedly agree regarding the up and down votes: even on Reddit they were supposed to be indicators of relevancy to the topic, not personal agreement.
