Ive watched videos and I always end up getting really overwealmed, its also cost. Like the thrift stores in my area arnt very decent, and you can't try on anything anymore but I'm still on a budget. I kinda want to avoid shein, cause sizing was strange, and child labor. How stuff fits is also kinda hard since I don't really have hips and given I started puberty at like 12 I doubt they will ever exist on my body. I have some basic fem T shirts and Jeans I need to wear a belt which ive gotten gendered correctly a few times while wearing.

I don't suppose you have access to a sewing machine? Skirts are one of the easiest things in the world to sew, and while fabric from a craft store might not be cheap, there are options for thrifted or secondhand fabrics that are more budget friendly.

I'm transmasc so I don't have great advice on fit, but here's a short on skirt placement that sounds like pretty solid advice to me. If you fit the skirt around your "new waist" like they suggest (right under your ribs), you might not need the belt, and you'll be able to hide any weird sewing on the waist line with your top. Then the only thing you really need to sew properly is the hem, which is dead simple on a machine.

Yes on the sewing machine! A good sewing making is pretty cheap in the long run too. My mom has been using the same machine for 30+ years and my cheap brother machine has been holding out great. Plus, if your ambitious you can even re-tailor old stuff to your new fit.
