Some myna birds have built a nest in my passion fruit vine which is right beside my clothes line. For the last 3 days I've been hanging out my laundry and they have been swooping me and clicking their angry little birdie noises.

I have a good relationship with the local magpies. They don't swoop us.

But these mynas are annoying. I'll leave them alone but I'm looking forward to them moving on.

Are they grey mynas or brown mynas? The grey ones are native, but the brown ones are introduced and are pests.

Grey. They have never nested so close to the house until now (been here over 15yrs).

Had one nest in a tree right beside my letter box, at the top of my driveway, but didn't get swooped once. The birds seem to have left that nest last week.

I'm fairly sure they'll move along once the chicks are fully airborne.
