You need to remember that even though the ceos aren't angels, that doesn't mean everyone else is

If you believe that only angels are on your side, you probably are a Jehova's Witness.

I believe that every side has it's pieces of shit, some just less shitty than others

[–] squaresinger@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Then what's your point? Unions are bad because there are some suboptimal people involved with it?

[–] original_ish_name@latte.isnot.coffee 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm saying people in unions can be shitty

[–] squaresinger@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Well, anyone can be shitty, so what does that say about the unions?

[–] original_ish_name@latte.isnot.coffee 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

just saying they aren't good by default

anyone can be shitty

I agree

They are not in the business of being good. They are in the business of representing workers and fighting for their rights. Them being good by default or not doesn't matter. The only good or bad that matters here is wheter they are representing workers well or not.

If you look at the start of this thread I was saying that they don't always represent workers well because the union leaders make money during strikes
