Why would anyone sympathise with a company? It's not a living being. It'd be like sympathising with a rock or a number.

I can surmise that you've been living under a rock, or have never met an Apple fanboy. Or Tesla. Or SpaceX. Or any number of other companies that people sympathise with.

The Apple fanboys resisting Right to Repair are absolutely nuts.

Yea, there's plenty of people who idolize the idea of taking advantage of others so much that they almost worship billionaires who do it as much as they can.

I've met people working for minimum wage who somehow idolize guys like Musk or Bezos.
People are weird.
