Oddly enough, I’m pretty sure that’s how circus peanuts are also made.
Circus peanuts are delicious, and have possibly the funniest nutrition facts of all time.
One serving is 4 circus peanuts, which weighs 32 g...
...and the sugar content is 27 g per serving, approximately 84% of the total weight.
The only ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, gelatin, pectin, artificial flavor, yellow 6, yellow 5, and red 40. In essence, it's just a wad of thickened sugar with a little bit of sweetener and orange food coloring added.
