The rough and loose technique uses an excavator to create 30 cm to 100 cm deep pits with similar height mounds to increase microsites and slowing and capturing water.

This is such a cool project! And the polster environmental site they talk about in their bioengineering post is an excellent resource too - they outline some great ways to repair slopes, with diagrams and everything
