Site isn't letting me create a new community. (lemmy.world)

When I hit "Create" I'll get the "Loading" swirl and that's it. As if the site isn't responding. Is this happening for anyone else, and how do I remedy?

Im pretty sure that You sadly have to, but im on lemmy since Jun 13 so Im not confident enough to give You any proper advice. Maybe there is a workaround like having someone else to create a community from theirs instance and passing the priviliges to You but Im not sure that It is possible so The best option is to ask people that are more knowledgeable with lemmy

also, many instances do not accpet signups ATM so if You want to check which do, You can look this up in this site
