I saw it after you mentioned it. When something like this happens to me I usually frog it ๐ธ. I just can't unsee it and it annoys me, ruining the experience. If that isn't you, leave it be. Otherwise, go with your gut and your inner ๐ธ. Also make sure you get the same batch of black if this skein isn't enough.
It irritates me for sure, but not enough to start all the way over lol
This was definitely bad management on my part, I did not realize just how much black I was going to need for this and ran out. The black I started with was part of a multipack that I really didn't need to buy again so I tried to match it as best I as I could. Since it's just the black section that is mismatched I may try to fix it with a sharpie once I'm done
I love how casually you're just like "yeah imma draw on it". That's the kind of resourcefulness I both admire and also try and shamefully hide when I do it myself.
Another possibility might be that, assuming you stitched with two threads, maybe adding a third thread on the top leg of the less cover-y stitches might be enough to blend them in? Just a thought. I'm sure colouring it in with pen will also work ๐
It's a habit I picked up in art school lol! Very often you would notice some small flaw and hour before a project was due so you use whatever is on hand to fix it quick!
