Getting a 2nd crack at seeing Inception in theaters during the pandemic has had me hoping there'd be another reason for something like this to happen again just maybe... Not so extreme as last time...
I'd love it if all the Nolan and Scorsese movies returned, oh and the Kubrick ones too. I haven't seen the Dark Knight in ages and would be more than down for going to see it again.
The BFI IMAX in London just had a Nolan countdown before Oppenheimer released and they played all his movies on 15/70mm IMAX. I saw Tenet, Inception, Interstellar and The Dark Knight Rises there and they were some of the best cinema experiences I’ve ever had.
Hopefully they play them again soon!
I would kill for an IMAX run of Kubrick films. Favorite director of all time and I've never been able to see any of his films in a theater. That first shot from The Shining in IMAX sounds like heaven.
