You've still got one, it's just there's only one gear ratio, a pretty big reduction gear to turn the high speed motor into the speed the wheels rotate at. Pretty sure even reverse just runs the motor backwards.
It's the one set of oil to change.
It's a gear which transmits power from the engine to the wheels.
Having multiple gears isn't a necessity. The transmission transmits power from the engine to wheels.
Chain and sprocket is a type of transmission.
A wheel has the same rpm as it's axle
