Which planar iems do you have/recommend? I've been thinking about picking up a pair of KZ PR2 pros.

I have Akoustyx S6 and the Tinhifi P1 Max. They are very different not only to each other but to a lot of other planars.

Think of the S6 like "get me etys but make them planar". They have 6.2mm planar drivers and they have mad accuracy, bass that sometimes feels powerful (might be my shitty source) and can be EQ-d very easily.

On the other hand, the P1 Max is intentionally made to be extremely forgiving. Its bass does not exactly give you planar vibes but is big with a very full body (not in a muddy sense). It also feels like every sharp edge was filed down through the FR chart. Its so good you can literally listen to them when you feel headachy.

KZ PR2 (only P1 has pro version) has a stealth change in newer batches that removes a filter, so it will sound terrible. I dont recommend unless you love roulette.

As for a similar budget Celest Gumiho and Pandamon are solid choices and are pretty affordable on aliexpress right now. TRN Rosefinch is promising but barely reviewed. TRN xuanwu is the cheapest, is well built, but it is reported to sound very weird (almost bought one though).

As for 100-200 the Tinhifi P1 Max would be a solid choice for me. The Akoustyx S6 I would still hold out on a final word, I need a good source. Letshuoers are the goto for most people. TRN Kirin might be an option. So is PR1 and PR1 pro, but why buy KZ for that price jeez. Moondrop stellaris looks enticing.

Ask away if you need help, I browsed them quite a lot these days.
