A couple of interesting bits:

  • McLaren is in advanced talks about continuing its customer relationship with Mercedes beyond 2025.
  • Andrea Stella believes that is better to be a customer of an established manufacturer than a works team of a new manufacturer. A reference to RB-Ford and Sauber-Audi, or maybe remembering the McHonda days?

At the moment, and I say this as a McLaren fan; that's just where McLaren are. No point in having the same experience they had with Honda whilst being towards the back of the midfield.

But I doubt they will win a championship without going the works route at some point

Did they ever get their new wind tunnel online? Feel like that's been in talks for ages now...
