Queens of the Stone Age - You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire

Really the whole album is perfect for road trips through the desert but this is my first pick!

never got into QotSA, BUT... the stuff I've heard, I could totally see that!

This is probably their most successful album commercially, if you're interested in them at all though, I recommend ...Like Clockwork from a few years back (well 10 now, ouch).

It may be (IMO) the greatest rock album of the past 20 years. Tons of texture and nuance and some heartbreaking lyrics and vocal deliveries from Josh Homme who usually comes off as more of a party / tongue in cheek sort of fella.
