I’m still waiting until we switch to transparent aluminum. some crazy Scottish guy in San Fransisco traded the formula for a bunch of plexiglas back in the mid-80s.

That's a ceramic. Not exactly what people mean when they say "aluminum." I mean, if that's considered aluminum, then so is sapphire.
