Like 'Ted Lasso' before it, 'The Bear''s second-season premiere during the Emmy campaign window may boost its chances to secure the prize for best comedy series for its debut season.

Don’t get me wrong The Bear is great but it’s so far from comedy it’s not even drama/comedy. I seriously don’t understand how it can be in that category.

Truly. It's heartfelt and heavy. I've never considered it to be a comedy. Even Shameless which is admittedly "funnier" is still tough to call a comedy. I only mention it due to the similar vibes and of course shared actor.

The funniest thing about The Bear s2 was all of the Community Easter eggs lol

Yeah, ummm, what comedy? Definitely doesn't fit.
