Is it justified to bump up the api pricing? What will be the outcome? Did it have an inpact on you?

I mean, I'm here now and enjoy how some communities from reddit are trying to migrate to the fediverse. But will it hold in the long term?

I don't think so. Many people are too used to reddit and will probably switch back as soon as the mass exodus has calmed down.

How long it will hold will depend on how invested the users and content creators are on an other platform.

Probably, but i think there will be some users which are fed up with the way reddit manages its platform and stay of it.
