For anyone on Android, may I recommend Voyager as your Lemmy app of choice?

Depending on how you configure the look and feel, it's about the closest to RIF I've found so far.

Also the "migrate subreddits" function is super handy for finding Lemmy channels you you might be interested in to get your feed populated with relevant content.
