One trick is to have anold android phone. I created a couple of accounts last year without giving any personal data by using a device with android kitkat.
I think Android Studio still has images of Android 4 with Google Play. Potential avenue for people without old phones at hand?
Good idea, worth checking.
APK Pure works well enough. Never run into scams etc so far, and it's my main source for apps. I use that, and Mobilism for safety-checked mods.
Have you tried lately? I do specifically remember them requiring it however the most recent one I made did not ask and it gave me a somewhat randomly generated email address. No recovery email or anything like that either could be a requirement if you're on TOR or something though still maybe difficult to say when they require it
