Hi all, relatively new here, I've got Automatic1111 installed, a few loras, a couple extensions, been having a lot of fun with it. That being said obviously the biggest thing holding SD back is the 512x512 resolution so SDXL seems really exciting.

What's the upgrade process expected to look like? Will it require setting everything up again from new? Will it be as simple as dumping a new model in? Will extensions/loras/models/whatevers work out of the box or will we need everything to be retrained and new?

I feel like I finally got my setup where I like it, and I am excited, but also like "Guh should I have just waited?"

I feel the same way but I seem to have fubar’d my 1.5 install.

I’ve been watching civitai closely as new models come out. Really looking for a good realism model.
