At least there's one person who doesn't go off the rails as if just told people to stop using Tor or Signal. Appreciate! ๐Ÿ™

I mean... Tor is founded and probably maintained by US intelligence

The core principle of Tor, onion routing, was developed in the mid-1990s by United States Naval Research Laboratory employees, mathematician Paul Syverson, and computer scientists Michael G. Reed and David Goldschlag, to protect American intelligence communications online.

People are against some ideas that are not even conspiracy theories, but just facts.

Same people hate on Snowden and Musk but trust them without questioning when embracing some random product.

Thank you for sharing some opinion that is not part of official media campaign, I hoped (and stil hope) lemmy will be more open-minded, but currently not by much.

I could've provided a bit more information on my own take on the link I submitted though. Thanks for being supportive!
