Request a Feddit.uk community

If you see a need for a community on Feddit.uk then the best advice is to start it. If you need help, then post a message requesting volunteers to pitch in on the moderating. Don't worry too much though there's plenty of people around who can advise the important thing is to get the ball rolling.

However, if you think Feddit.uk needs a community but you aren't in a position to help it get started then this is the community for you. Start a new post with the idea and then, when someone starts it they can throw a link in.

Big user of the UK Parenting subreddit over on Reddit and I think it might be handy to have a similar community over here.

Seems like a good idea. I am unqualified to run it but if there's anyone up for volunteering then I (or someone else) can get it rolling and hand it over.

edit: in the meantime there's !dads@feddit.uk and so if anyone wants a mums equivalent then we can do that too.

Yeah I'm on the !dads@feddit.uk but I'm the only one posting. I can't believe I'm the only person on out little corner of the internet that has kids?

Maybe you're all significantly smarter than me.. probably that to be fair.

It's early days and it often feels like you are firing posts off into the dark but you are building the foundations and structure that later people will build on. So it might not feel like you are making a difference but you are. Keep up the good work.
