So not only do the western tanks give better crew survivability, they are also easier to retrieve and repair. I'm almost starting to think the Russian yelling about how many tanks were destroyed was meant to downplay how good they actually are...

I'm certain territory and training plays into this as well. Must be a lot easier to recover damaged equipment for repair when the former frontline is now in a zone you marginally control, and know the difference between a spanner and a vodka bottle.
