Weaponized as such, close enough.

Sealed tins with labels removed left in cupboards or on store shelves in areas Russian troops are moving in to and likely to raid or set up barracks or HQs, however?

Honestly, at this point, war footing for Europe or America would at best cut the time in half. And that is being generous. Truthfully it may shave months off at best due to the lack of meaningful factories to convert.

On the other hand, we have a lot more diverse arms beyond artillery shells that would both need production increases as well as stockpiles we would empty in the meantime. Aerial bombs, other ground based missile platforms, possibly even other artillery shells that are simply not compatible with Ukrainian systems currently in use.

America in particular is not a heavy user of artillery for the prior 50 years, and mostly as defensive weapons currently. And the American military would be pushing to turn it from a defensive to offensive war as soon as possible.

Hate to be the one that has to tell the F22 that Ukraine beat them to the punch.

Mine was created as a B-Class I believe. Suspect system of creation (or even terminal of creation) might decide class, if not just completely random.

I'm certain territory and training plays into this as well. Must be a lot easier to recover damaged equipment for repair when the former frontline is now in a zone you marginally control, and know the difference between a spanner and a vodka bottle.

Modern take on the FX Star Patroller, Bricklink estimates it's around USD 100 to build. 658 pieces as planned (no Minifigure included yet), but these things always change once building starts!

First time on a Lemmy instance, and I though Sopuli looked inviting. I appreciate you taking me, and some of my fellow supporters of the Reddit blackout, in during these dark days. So far, enjoying my time here and learning about Lemmy and federated services! I hope I can learn to do more than lurk.
