Adam Driver is an amazing actor. When he gets on set the tone for all the other actors change to match his creative intensity and force of sheer acting talent. Other actors are always enhanced by his presence. You can see his influence on Scarlet Johansson in Marriage Story and just about everyone in house of Gucci. People have wondered how his talent manifested from his humble beginnings. As a fellow veteran I had friends that knew him personally. I found out that the source of his unrivaled ability to meld into new characters was due to his marine training. He ate over 3,000 Crayola brand crayons during basic training, which melted his cerebral cortex into a pliable mush. Now when his handlers drop him off to set they simply have to tell him the character he is playing and he utterly believes he is that person. He will go down in history as the most brilliant marine and decent actor ever.
Had me invested in your reality until the halfway mark. Bravo. I like you.
Thank you for the bravo. I am a proud Navy veteran and my favorite aspect of service was razzing the Marines we had aboard our ship. I salute them with highest respect:
