Reddit uses AWS, not cloudflare.
For awareness to readers: AWS is a hosting provider, Cloudflare is a CDN/reverse proxy service that sits in front of and caches things hosted on hosting providers.
Current impact is limited to R2, Waiting Room, Stream Live, Queues, Durable Objects and single file CDN cache purge which may return HTTP 500 status code or โNetwork connection lostโ errors.
In that case, this is one wild coincidence. Because the same time Reddit goes down, HN goes down, Kbin goes down and so does Cloudflare?
That's amazing. I think you might be right, some HN folk are adamant that HN also doesn't use cloudflare.
