Cool stuff, each one of these could be a separate post!

I've been thinking about it, but I think it would be too much flood, due to so many inventions, to make each one separately. I think it is better to stay together in a thread. This also gives freedom that everyone can add own discoveries of inventions of this type.

I'm constantly watching the "New" stream from the "All" section while I'm familiarizing myself with Lemmy. Flooding is the least of Lemmyverse's problems. 🤣

No seriously, I think more activity - Even if it's repetative (just not spamming the same stuff) is good for the ecosystem. Why not create a separate community for Vintage Tech? I could post something about Perculator coffe machines etc.?

Maybe its a posibility. but, even there are a lot of old tech, it would be a limited community because of the lack of new vintage tech worth to post.

it would be a limited community because of the lack of new vintage tech worth to post.

Well, time passes and tech becomes vintage all the time. A tamagochi from the late 90's could be considered vintage, even though it's digital. And I'm sure there's a lot of fascinating "actually vintage" tech throughout history, enough to fill pages and pages of posts.

But this is meant as a suggestion, not a request. Don't put too much focus on it if it's not right for you.
