I think for a dishwasher to be considered portable it would have to be too small to be considered useful. The smallest dishwashers I know of are countertop units. Usually they fit two sets of dishes, tops, so a single-household will have to run it at least every day.
But even they are too big to be carried around comfortably. You might consider them luggable.
Not quite. Portable in dishwasher parlance typically means that it is not permanently installed. Most portable dishwashers Iโve seen are only marginally smaller and instead of being permanently installed, they are on casters so you can roll it around where you need it.
Definitely not carrying around size, but still portable in dishwasher speak.
