Summary

Trump’s transition team is reportedly mired in infighting at Mar-a-Lago, with factions clashing over control and strategy for his return to the White House.

The Washington Post detailed heated disputes, including shouting matches, name-calling, and physical altercations.

Three key factions have emerged: one led by Donald Trump Jr. and JD Vance, another by Trump ally Susie Wiles, and a third by Linda McMahon.

High-profile confrontations involve figures like Boris Epshteyn, Elon Musk, and Vance, highlighting tensions over Cabinet picks and leaks, further fracturing the team.

I'm not defending anyone, I'm explaining how it works. It's not my fault that you're being an unfortunate combination of dense and inexplicably hostile 🤷

No one is putting a gun to their head and forcing them to discus the orange man. It's a choice.

Their job is literally to make topical jokes and interview people. In order for people to laugh at topical jokes, they need to know about the thing being joked about.

Talk show hosts COULD make their monologues about better topics than Trump, but if Trump is all anyone is talking about, people aren't going to get any of the references and the whole thing will fall flat.

This can't be argued

You're right. It's nonsense. I've explained how it workers and why it works like that now, so if you still cling to your pet hypothesis about all comedy writers being lazy hacks who love writing about Trump, I'm not going to waste any more time and effort. I can explain it for you, but I can't understand it for you.

Have the day you deserve.

You and I define hostile very differently. If you can't have a calm conversation with perceiving hostility, I would advise against online conversations. Interpreting tone of text without hearing a literal tone of voice and facial expressions can be difficult for some.

Not everyone is talking about Trump. That's a serious case of TDS. Just because the media, who loves him, for obvious reasons, chooses to discuss him 24/7 doesn't imply the average person is. I can't recall the last time I spoke to someone in person about him. It happens enough online for my taste.

You can word it how you want, but you are defending them; a thing can be two things. I'm sorry if this upsets you.

Have a wonderful weekend. You deserve it.
