A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

AC maintenance for American Airlines is union

Union is nice, but it is still held back by the industry average, and there's as many union as non-union airlines. It's been a lot better since Covid for us but my point still stands that the skilled labor list is BS and as you well know there is a lot of skilled work in this field, but it's categorized incorrectly as a way of keeping costs low. From what I recall, Delta was the biggest player in that lobby effort.
