Ah, the usual bullshit argument of “go fight it”. Do you think WW3 would have trenches and bayonet charges? This is 2024 and we are the west, we have delegated war to technological superiority backed by doomsday devices. Sure we’d have a few casualties, that’s unavoidable - but hey, omelette and eggs.

To answer your question directly, as silly as it is: my country doesn’t have a draft, we have a professional army which would be more than enough with the rest of NATO to annihilate Russia. But if it came to it, if my death in a bayonet charge contributed to the destruction of Russia, sign me the fuck up.

Needs of the many, etc.

And the deaths of your loved ones? Your sons, your nephews, your brothers? Still worth it?

Not to mention the lives of the soldiers you kill in battle. Every one of them as precious as yours.

Hey don’t get me wrong, I don’t like dead people (me very much included) any more than you do.

But yes, I think that a few deaths - including mine and my loved ones, as it can happen, if it comes to it - in exchange for the destruction of Russia is a bargain.

Russia poses an existential threat to our society and to the world at large. Who do you think is pushing the climate change denial agenda?

Much more damage and much more death and suffering will happen if Russia keeps existing.

Rupert Murdoch.

Ah well, that too :D multiple bad guys can coexist, unfortunately.
