I have definitely seen naked women that closely resemble that figuring, so I don't think it is that exaggerated anymore.

I actually heard that this was most desirable in the stone age as the plumper women could survive winters and childrearing. So it is a bit like stone age photoshop, just not in the direction we usually expect.

Yeah for most of human history being fat was seen as a sign of wealth and was considered attractive. It's only recently that we started seeing skinniness as attractive.
