I know it's just 10 people but it's been a rough few months and I think it's a good idea to celebrate the small victories. : )

Congratulations! I'm hoping I will get to try it soon. I get internet in a week, but I have to find a graphics card or monitor with display port. My HDMI port got fucked on my current GPU

On a quick search I'm seeing displayport to HDMI adapters as cheap as $6 on Amazon and $2 on eBay.

I can't believe I didn't think of that. I'm walking to the cash register with one now. Thank you for your help!

Edit: worked like a charm! Thank you so much for all of your help everybody! I'll have to remember to download the demo as soon as I get internet

I don't know how to do it, but I know it's possible to get your motherboard's HDMI port, if it has one, to display the output from the GPU. Might help you hold out if you're not otherwise looking to upgrade.

This is very interesting! Time to see what I can find. Thanks so much for the tip!

Edit: I'm not having any luck finding anything on that. I'm gonna see if it would be possible to desolder it from the mobo and solder it onto the gpu

Sorry to hear that. I had issues with my main laptop for a few months. In the end I just gave up and bought a desktop PC.

I'm hoping I can find an old graphics card in storage, or a buddy with one. I don't have any money for replacing anything at the moment. Gonna look into the tip from the user below about the port on the mobo
