Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.
Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

Text in AIgen art is wild. xD
Do we have an equivalent of r/anarchy101 to direct folks towards before giving them the boot?
Looks like !anarchism101@lemmy.ca exist but appears abandoned since a year
Yeah, only 4 posts too, and an absent mod. Think it'd be worth trying to revive it? Or better to start over?
We can probably start over, but I don't have the time to init yet another community with content.
I could start one on piefed.social, probably later this week. Or would you want it on your instance, to keep it grouped with the flippanarchy and anarchism communities? Alternatively, we could just let 101-level questions go to the anarchism community for now, as seems to be currently happening.
I think it's ok to leave them in /c/anarchism until we get too much of it
I especially like that she's writing on the wall above the board.
If the relevant definition of "anarchy" in use here is society without governance, is there no irony in the community rules? And if we're incapable of having an online community without governance, how do we expect an IRL community without governance to function?
I assume sincere and polite debate is acceptable. My opinions on anarchy were greatly influenced by Larry Niven's "Cloak of Anarchy".
Why would you even think that after I directly said ?
Not having a government and police doesn't mean there aren't rules, it means there isn't one single governing body and enforcement team, like there is with most governments. This community having rules is very different than a government which enforces laws and spaces like this would continue to exist as they do in an anarchist society.
They also have stylized red hair coming out of the full head covering. It’s just a big ol’ mess. I won’t speak much on the fact it’s clearly a Chinese or adjacent lady because I’m sure that there places where they will wear those wraps, too, but it’s certainly an edge case for AI to go with either way.
The wraps is because I told the model to draw me a masked black bloc teacher :D
Oh my god lol
