Do you think it would be possible (and how could we get it done?) to unite millions of people who collectively agree to target an individual company for a short time unless the company meets our demands? For example, for the month of March we all pledge to not purchase anything from Apple unless Apple does XYZ... Either they do it, or we tank their stock... Move on to the next company target

Did it?

It looked like a one day wonder. The parent company is still around and Bud Light is still everywhere I look.

Sales of Bud Light and Budweiser dropped 24.6% and 9.2%, respectively, for the four weeks ended June 3 from a year earlier, while Modelo Especial sales rose 10.2%, according to consulting company Bump Williams, which sources data from NielsenIQ.

I never said they were bankrupt. It hurt their sales, which is what OPs post is about to my understanding.

Going from number 1 to number 3 is a big deal.

They don't necessarily need to go away, they just need to stop fucking with elections (and a few other things)

Look up Right Wing homophobe Jerry Falwell.

He decided that he wanted to take control of the GOP. He created the Moral Majority, a pressure group that had a simple way to overcome the big shots.

There are local clubs that decide local issues; who is going to be the county clerk? and things like that. Anytime there was a meeting the MMs would show up with enough people to make sure their position won. Often this was as simple as bringing one or two dozen folks.

County clerks eventually lead to Congress people, and then Governors and Senators.

Look at AOC. She beat an entrenched NYC Dem in her primary.

It's easier to organize a few thousand people to show up on a monthly basis the4n to get millions to do something for a year.
