And: Who doesn't want to die a gruesome death should not go into this specifoc corridor on that storey. But hey, have fun finding your classroom with all the doors and stairs, that so often lead to random different places.
We have a saying here, which would also fit for Hogwarts: Up to 10% lost is still OK XD
