We had an outside kitten when I was a kid and one night we looked out on the back porch and the kitten and maybe 4-5 baby possums were eating out of the bowl at the same time while the momma watched from like 6 feet away.

When the babies were done they loaded back up in the mom and she waddled off.

But the mom never tried to eat any or chase off the kitten.

Just wanted to share the magic food bowl that refilled twice a day.
