. I agree that there is incredible pressure with the role, but I think if she had better material it would be better. It was around the time when the Beebs really was trying for everything to be an in your face social commentary. Chibnall's material tried too hard with it. Where as Moffat (however problematic he can be) and RTD, yeah it's social commentary but it's worked in well into a contained science fiction story each episode.

They definitely went back to their roots with the Ncuti era.

Mmm... not sure if it's just me, but the spoiler function in this is odd... I don't know if I did it correctly, but if I did, I don't like it.
