Seeing a lot of stupid chat about the potential handball by Calafiori last night.
People don't know the rules of the game:
"a player is hit on the hand/arm by the ball from a team mates kick/header
This is not a handball"
It took me like 2 minutes to Google IFAB's rules.
I feel like there are plenty of reasons why that's not a penalty. The ruling you mentioned, the fact it's accidental and it comes off his body and deflects to his hand which is moving away, there's also no advantage for PSG in that moment. They can be aggrieved all they want.
If it was the other way around and it was PSG, I'd still think that would have been a brutal penalty to have been given against you.
Maybe it's just me, since I consume mostly Arsenal related news, but fuck me does it feel like whenever something controversial happens in an Arsenal game it gets picked apart by the pundits. I know the pundits feed off of the controversy, but it is just so blatant, anybody who laps that up needs to rethink their choices in life, lol. It obviously works, otherwise they wouldn't do it.
There was one Athletic article a few days ago complaining that Trossard was suspended for the Bolton game instead of the Leicester game, lmfao. Hating on Arsenal gets clicks, and they also just kinda hate us anyway XD
