A much happier story would have “I was fired for fleeing a flood but I lived to tell the tell”
This is heartbreaking
This story does exist! Just not in newspapers or websites.
My friend in a flood zone left her shift during the flooding in Asheville and she's not sure if she has a job coming back.
I’m glad she’s safe. You don’t need me to tell you she did the right thing .
I also think the news media would like to talk to her, especially after this tragedy.
