The joint technical subcommittee between the IEC and ISO, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 25, covers building automation including for example energy harvesting. Another joint ISO/IEC systems committee has been recently set up to prepare standards in the field of bio-digital convergence. It will notably collect, evaluate, and classify existing standards that are relevant in the field of BDC and identify of gaps where standards are needed.
