Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.

The glass was super impure and that's what happens to all those (toxic) captive metals over a long period of time.
Probably lots of lead. Bit of copper and cobalt too.
All this poison leaching into my bloodstream from my awesome bracelet doesn't bode well for the future of my empire.
