His meathead follower Rogan is one of the top on Spotify and it makes me sad for humanity

I always hear about people lamenting that they lost their boomer parents to Fox News or Facebook or whatever, but I'm a boomer parent who lost a son to Rogan. He's always quoting absolute nonsense he heard on that show about Kamala or liberals. It's so sad - he's a pretty smart guy.

That must be crushing. My brother is going down this path after moving to the south. I know it weighs heavily on my parents and I can’t imagine it.

I almost went down that path myself with the libertarian party before the tea party came to being. This is the brother I was closest to growing up. I never understood how siblings could drift so apart throughout life. I really hope we don’t have the same fate.

Both my brothers are left wing and smart, but they listen to Rogan and say it's entertaining. I won't even listen to that crap, it's just Rogan having some bigot on and letting him rant stupidity while Rogan goes "never thought of it that way... That's a good point" like an ape

He's so disingenuous. He says "I'm just a dumb guy asking questions," but his show is clearly slanted and he gives sure time to people who wouldn't and shouldn't reach that kind of audience without him.

I was always interested in the joe rogan podcast before it was on Spotify, because how popular it was and how much there is. I like to listen to podcast when I'm at work, and I'm always on the lookout for new ones. When it finally came to Spotify i listened to it and was like: oh wow, it's shit. Like there are podcasts that i don't like, but i get why people like it, this is just straight garbage.
