There are very few movie that are better in cinemas. Dune and avatar comes to mind, and only on late night shows where people is usually more calma and quiet
IT parts 1 and 2 were amazing in theater, the whole audience reacting (and behaving properly) really enhanced the experience
I saw avatar 2 in theater. And while I'm sure I've been at least once since avatar 1 came out, it's the last thing I remember seeing in theater before 2. I loved same day digital releases. In fact, I kept HBO Max subscribed until they stopped doing them. 99% of the time, home is just a better experience. And I just have a basic 5.1 set up.
