She is dating someone who appears to be a Trump supporter, and she is a billionaire. Could she have changed her mind on Trump since 2020?

Friendly reminder to everyone that there is no such thing as a moral billionaire.

All I can find on Travis Kelce being a Trump supporter is a liked tweet where Trump was at a UFC event. His history suggests he is progressive, doing commercials for COVID vaccination, was one of the first to kneel for the anthem, etc. Why do you think he's a Trump supporter?

I think they probably fall short of endorsement because they recognize that their names are brands and don't want to alienate anyone who might belong to the opposite political party. This is nothing new among celebrities.

I don't follow NFL or Taylor really, so I only remember the Instagram like thing by him and discussion at the time. I'm probably biased towards easily believing a footballer would support Trump and not questioning the validity enough in this case.

It's true that they are brands, but I think seeing as Taylor endorsed Biden in 2020 they are surprised at her silence now - especially after having her likeness used in a pro Trump ad.

Is Kelce a Trump supporter? The Trumpers I know hate Kelce because he encouraged people to get the COVID vaccine.

I only remembered the discussion after the Instagram like, but I should probably do more research before I perpetuate rumours.

I didn't know there was an Instagram like story. Just typing that makes me laugh. If I become famous somehow and the media goes through my Lemmy upvote history, it's gonna get weird.
