Roblox was broken on Deck and linux by the addition of a new anti-cheat. The way the Sober app gets around the anti-cheat is by instead running the android app. This apparently has some significant performance improvements over the usual PC app as well, with people reporting up to twice the performance on the same hardware.

I know people are pretty dismissive of roblox (myself included), but it's hugely popular and it's always good to have the option.

Afaik, it wasn't broken. The Roblox devs put in extra work to block Linux users from playing because according to them "the majority of cheaters are on Linux". Who knows if that's true

The majority of roblox cheaters don't even know what a cmd prompt is

I doubt that's true. Linux is barely 2% of the overall gaming market. 4% if you include general desktop users. I do not believe for a second that a tiny fraction of 2% who play roblox are "mostly" cheaters.

What's more likely is they're Windows users who are running a VM to circumvent the anticheat, and the Officers are too lazy to pay their devs to come up with a viable anticheat that doesn't exclude people.
