Idk why folks are complaining... The movie the predator told me that autism's the next step in human evolution.
I really feel like I should /s this comment.
The autistic savant is a trope since forever.
I feel it's more like species specialization. Like ants.
Some humans can do complex math, some get angry and kill people when their sports team loses.
Considering how hard it is to date outside the spectrum pool, I think over time we will see significantly more specialization and separation with definite physical markers and cultures.
