Hey! I love to use my steam deck to keep my hands busy while I watch tv.

I played a lot of Dynasty Warriors 8 and Disgaea 5 which worked perfectly for me.

Do you maybe have more recommendations for grindy games with a lot of content that I can play offline in short bursts?

For some reason, playing on the steam deck has been the only way I’ve ever been able to 100% a Bethesda game. I’ve always played them, my entire life I’ve been playing Bethesda games, but I’ve never actually finished one, until this year

I’ve had my deck for 6 months now and I’ve been through 100% of new Vegas, Skyrim, and now starting on Oblivion

Idk what it is about playing these games on hand held, it makes them feel so much bigger and I got hooked. If you’ve never played/finished a Bethesda game, or if you’ve never played one and you want to try it, there steam deck is the perfect place to start for ANY of their games. (Other than the one that shall not be named)

So back in July I moved in with my significant other at her place. Today I realized we had an Ethernet port hidden behind furniture, right beside my gaming PC. I can now stream it to my Steam Deck using Sunshine / Moonlight and it works like a charm. My internet has also doubled in speed lmao.

I tried the built in streaming software to stream from my PC and it was not very good. Constantly blurry, noticeable input delay, random freezing where I had to restart the game. It just didn’t work well at all.

Is moonlight/sunlight actually better to which it’s worth my time setting it up? Or is it more or less the same thing?
